Composition of corundum mullite bricks
Corundum and mullite bricks are made of corundum and mullite as the main raw materials, and are fired at high temperature in an oxidizing atmosphere by adding an appropriate amount of alumina, silica ultrafine powder and additives. The content of AL2O3 is 72%~90%.
Production process of corundum mullite brick
The corundum mullite brick body is formed by a 300t friction press, and the body density is 2.7g/cm3. The body is dried in a tunnel dryer. The inlet temperature is 40~50℃, the highest drying temperature is 130℃, the drying time is 48h, and the body moisture is not more than 1.5%. The product is fired in a tunnel kiln, the firing temperature is 1550℃, and the holding time is 10h.
Advantages and characteristics of corundum mullite brick
(1) High temperature resistance, high refractory temperature and high load softening temperature.
(2) Chemical resistance, strong resistance to acidic solutions or molten slag.
(3) Antioxidant. It is not easy to react with O2, H2, CO and other gases.
(4) Good thermal stability, stable volume at high temperature, not easy to expand or shrink.
(5) Good thermal shock resistance, resistance to rapid cold and heat and not easy to peel off.
(6) High compressive strength at room temperature, and it is not easy to wear when handling or unloading.
Use of corundum mullite bricks
corundum mullite bricks can be directly exposed to flame, peel off, and high temperature resistance. They can be used as heat insulation linings for high-temperature industrial furnaces and working layers for other industrial high-temperature furnaces. They are mainly used in petrochemical industry and large and medium-sized synthetic ammonia gasification. Furnace and magnetic materials, gas furnace materials, high-temperature industrial furnace supporting facilities materials.

The corundum mullite brick is made of imported plate-shaped corundum and high-purity fused corundum as the main raw material. It is applied with advanced ultrafine powder adding technology. After mixing, molding and drying, it is fired at high temperature in the shuttle kiln. The product has the characteristics of high refractoriness, good thermal shock resistance, high temperature strength, excellent corrosion resistance, strong slag resistance, small expansion coefficient, low creep and anti-flaking.
Instructions for use of corundum mullite brick
It can be used as a solid and coated abrasive, wet or dry or spray sand, suitable for crystal, ultra-fine grinding and polishing in the electronics industry and making advanced refractory materials. Production process of corundum mullite brick
White corundum hardness is slightly higher than brown corundum, slightly lower toughness, high purity, good self-sharpness, strong grinding ability, low calorific value, high efficiency, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and good thermal stability. Grinding tools made of white corundum granular sand are suitable for grinding fine-grained abrasives such as high carbon steel, high speed steel and stainless steel. White corundum can also be used for precision casting and advanced refractory materials.

1.Inspection and Control of incoming raw materials: according to the chemical content,raw materials are classified into different levels to ensure quality of brick first.
2.Inspection and control of the process: during the production,every brick will be weighed twice strictly to reduce the error of weight .
3.Quality audit by quality management: inspection of product standardization of quality of each product by process control and experimentation, taking corrective measures timely whenever deviations are noted.
4.Before delivery, the inspectors will inspect the size,appearance, physical and chemical properties of brick again in factory.
